The Wauquiez Centurion 42 was produced in the early to mid 1980s, before Wauquiez was purchased by Beneteau. T
he Centurion 42 was designed by Dubois. By way of introduction to this particular Wauquiez, we are including some scans of the
original brochure from Wauquiez. To the right is the photo from the cover of the original brochure. Wind speed would appear to be over 15 knots, based upon the sea state. The 
boat is carrying an asym
metrical chute and a reefed main and appears to be sailing on a broad reach. Below, also from the brochure is a pic of the boat sailing upwind.
